Lunch Break: The Podcast

Early in 2018, Appen Media Group launched a family podcasts looking to jump on this new audio craze sweeping the nation. Lunch Break, a comedy show about food, was born out of the necessity to answer those hard hitting questions such as why does asparagus make your pee smell and does Mountain Dew really lower your sperm count?

While some episodes focused on answering food myths, others featured special guests from the food industry in Atlanta including Vortex Co-founder Michael Benoit, Cherry Street Brewing’s Nick Tanner and Café Intermezzo Founder Brian Olson. The show would ultimately end in August of 2019 after a brief attempt to continue the show in St. Louis.

Aside from hosting duties, I also handled booking guests, writing show outlines, producing/recording each show as well as post production work including editing.
